Far Horizons Award

The Far Horizons Award was established in 2006 by the CCA Governing Board to recognize members of the Cruising Club of America for a particularly meritorious cruise or series of cruises that exemplify the objectives of the club.  The name of the award is derived from the name of the books published by the Club containing accounts of cruising adventures by its members.

2011 Far Horizons Award to Brian and Mary Alice O'Neill

O'NeillThe Cruising Club of America has selected Brian and Mary Alice O’Neill to receive it’s Far Horizon Award for an outstanding 25 month cruise around the Pacific rim of the North Pacific.The Trophy will be awarded by Commodore Daniel P. Dyer III at the annual Awards Dinner, March 2, 2012, at the New York yacht Club.
